It's Pumpkin Patch Time! "Many hands make light work" - even if the pumpkin is huge! Sign up sheets are posted on the main bulletin board in the Narthex. Please consider where you can be of the most help and sign up. Currently, our main openings are for volunteer coordinator and pre-school liaison. The pumpkins will be delivered on Wednesday, October 13 at 4:00 p.m. Please contact Norma Badeaux at 770-449-0021 if you can help with the set-up. The Patch will be open October 13 through October 31; hours are 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. during the week. On Saturday the hours will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Proceeds will go to fundraising efforts for any summer retreat NPC does in 2005, including the Church Wide Mission Trip.

We must know if we will have enough people to mind the Patch by July 25, so call, sign up, or just say YES when you are called!

If you are interested in helping to plan for Fall events, please come to a joint committee meeting of Life & Nurture and Witness & Evangelism on July 25 at 4:00 p.m. As you know, many events take place in the Fall and require months of preparation. If you are interested in helping with the BBQ/Bazaar, the Pumpkin Patch, welcoming visitors, planning for the Unlisted Numbers group, and programs for the Fellowship Dinners, please come to this meeting. We need your input! We look forward to seeing you there!

Unlisted Numbers

The unlisted Numbers will meet at the church on Thursday, July 15 at 9:00 a.m. to visit the Air Force Museum and buy peaches in Macon, GA. Call Johanne Valentine for more information.

Family Game Night

On Saturday, July 17, beginning at 5:30 p.m. we will have Family Game Night . Bring $5.00 to order pizza and wings; come ready to play games of "all sorts" - indoors!
