Well, another year of Preschool is over – and what a great year it was! I cannot say this enough, so I will say it again – this preschool would not be what it is today without the love and support of this wonderful congregation!! Whenever we need anything (supplies, help, etc.), someone is always there to help us! So here are some “thankyous” for all of the help we received through the year: Thank you to Sandy Plyler for always being there when it’s time for me to clean out and organize and for helping out with the Trike-a-Thon. Thank you to Laura Harris for helping us with the Trike-a-Thon. Thank you to Jason Bernardo for bringing all the extra bikes and helmets for the Trike-a-Thon and for being our “man power” when we need it. Thank you to Walter Cochran for building us some more wonderful shelves. Thank you to Jack Crymes for the donation of the humidifier downstairs (it makes a huge difference) and for supplying the funds for Walter’s shelves! Thank you to Johanne Valentine, Carol MacGregor, Ken Birmingham, Linda Smith and Matt Fry for helping us with the luncheon at our end of the year program – from cooking lunch, to setting up the tables, to helping me with the slide show….it was a wonderful day thanks to you all! And thank you to Lisa Knowles for your help with the Trike-a-Thon and especially for all of your help with the end of the year program! It was a huge lift off of my shoulders knowing that someone’s brain was working that day for me! And thank you to everyone who donated the wonderful DVDs that the children have enjoyed so much over the year! From rainy days to exercise videos, they have been a wonderful addition to the church. And we couldn’t have DVDs without a DVD player – thank you Bill Brown and Jill Swenson for the wonderful donation! So, bottom line, I am very thankful for the love and support we receive from everyone here at Norcross Presbyterian Church! Thank you!!!! Love – Melissa |
