Praise Kids Report: We’re meeting Sunday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00 and we’ve really got the “joyful noise” part of praise down. Just ask anyone who’s been in the building at the time! We’re exploring many ways to learn about God. We hope to share a song with you during the worship service sometime soon. We’re exploring the church property and crafting note cards to sell as a benefit for hurricane relief efforts. We’re going to be part of the live nativity service in December. And, if you are in the 5th grade or younger, we’d love to have you join us. If you have any questions, ask Laura Lankford or Sandra Murray. |

Food and Fellowship continue on Wednesday nights. After nourishing our bodies with a delicious meal, we continue our nourishment with some soul food in our intergenerational Bible study and discussion group based on the Joan of Arcadia series. See Matt’s Musings for more on this subject! Upcoming teams and their menus for our Wednesday night dinners for the month of October are as follows: October 5—the Lankfords and Linda Smith will be serving up smoked beef brisket (Texas style!). October 12— the Helmstetters and Cochrans will offer Cajun cooking . October 19—the Valentines, Diane Lewis and Larry Fluehr will prepare chili. October 26—the Badeaux’s will provide Barbecue. |
