Introducing George Tatro

       NPC’s new Seminary Intern

In case you see this gentleman wandering around the premises, please go up and introduce yourself to him.  He is George Tatro and will be serving as the Seminary Intern for the rest of this year.  He will work some with the youth and the Christian Nurture committee.  He will also work with the whole congregation.

George has been married for five years to Carrie and they have two dogs and a cat, viz., Mommadog, Lucy and Schmoopie.  He is attending Columbia Theological Seminary working toward an M. Div. degree.  In addition to his studies, George also manages over 300 apartments in Chamblee.

His hobbies include judo, vermiculture (composting with worms), paintball, rugby, ballroom dancing, gardening, bocce ball and croquet.  The church of his youth was Riviera Presbyterian Church in Miami.  Currently he is a member at Oglethorpe Presbyterian but will be moving to Rock Springs Presbyterian when his completes his internship here.

George writes: “I want to thank everybody at Norcross Presbyterian Church for inviting me to be a part of your journey of faith.  I was a stranger and you welcomed me in.  I thank you for providing me this opportunity to serve Christ, to discover my many hidden talents and faults, and to discern how these talents and faults can be used to the greater glory of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus Christ.  Peace always, George”
