The Session: Governing the church
"A place to call home."
Our session is our governing body.  People are elected by the
congregation to serve.  We as Presbyterians believe that our government
should be a representative system.  People are elected each year for a 3
year term, and the pastor.  We currently have 4 committees:
Spritual Growh: coordinates our efforts in Christian Nurture for all ages,
including our our children’s programs, Youth programs, and Adult
educational experiences.  Also manages the regular Sunday program, music
Special Events: creates and oversees special events, such as Dog Dayz.
Mission projects, fellowship events.
Administration Committee: Budget, Maintenance, Support Staff,
Finances, Staff & Policy Committee, hosting, benevolences

Dr. Matthew M. Fry, Pastor
It is a little known trivia fact that when our
national form of government was being
founded, the founders relied heavily on the
Church of Scotland and its form of
government as an outline.  Our church
government is a direct descen- dent of the
Church of Scotland as well, so our polity
(church government) bears a resemblance to
    our national government.
Pastoral Care: Membership, homecoming, evangelism, electronic
communications and social networking, congregational development, visitor
programs, member programs.
