Who are we Presbyterians? We are a missionary society whose purpose is to share the love of God in
Jesus Christ in word and deed and with all the world.  Presbyterians engage in mission activities, seek to
alleviate hunger, foster self-development, respond to disasters, support mission works, preach the gospel, heal
the sick, and educate new generations for the future.   Presbyterians are distinctive in two major ways: We
adhere to a pattern of religious thought known as Reformed theology and to a form of government that stresses
the active, representational leadership of both ministers and church members.
The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has approximately 2.5 million members, 11,200 congregations and 21,000
ordained ministers.  We partner with more than 150 churches and Christian organizations around the world in
missionary efforts of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) involving approximately 1,000 volunteers and
compensated personnel.

We are a wonderful church in the Greater
Atlanta Presbytery with 173 members.  We
consider ourselves to be a family.  We
consider newcomers to be part of our
heavenly family whom we just haven’t had
the pleasure of meeting yet.
