Mission Project for Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2006

 

 

VBS will be collecting school supplies for Norcross Cooperative Ministry (NCM).  NCM distributes book bags filled with age appropriate supplies to social workers at schools in the Norcross cluster.  Here is an advance look at the supplies we will be collecting from June 11^th thru June 15th:

 

Back Pack Style Book Bags (all colors)

Hard Cover Notebooks (1" 3-ring binders)

Hard Cover Notebooks (2" 3-ring binders)

Wide-Ruled Notebook Paper

College-Ruled Notebook Paper

Wide-Ruled Spiral Notebooks

Red & Black Ink Pens

Rulers

8 Count Bold Color Markers with Wide Tips

Two Pocket Folders with Brads

Graph Paper

Composition (Journal) Notebooks (hard cover, black, wide-ruled)

TI-35 or Higher Calculators

Crayons

Colored Pencils

Plastic Bottles of Elmer's Glue

Subject Dividers

Scissors - Colored Plastic for Elementary School Age Youth

 

Please note that if you would like to have someone else shop for supplies you may make a financial donation or purchase gift cards.

 

NCM can use gift cards from stores like the following:

Target, Wal-Mart, Office Depot, Office Max and Staples.

 

Checks may also be made out to NPC, with a memo of

‘VBS mission project’ or ‘school supplies’.

 

So start planning, watch for sales, and help the VBS treasure chest overflow with school supplies.
