Plan to join us for the Horizons Bible Study and other program we support. Be sure to check the Presbyterian Women bulletin board in the church hallway to keep up to date on events of interest to women of the Presbyterian churches.

 

“When You Loved the Least of These” is the theme of a Tri Presbytery Mission Conference to be held on Saturday, November 6 at Shallowford Presbyterian Church, Atlanta. Worship, a Keynote address “Mobilizing the Church for Mission”, Workshops, Luncheon and an International Market Place and Bookstore are included in the day’s offering. Child care is available. Flyers with complete details and registration information are posted on the Presbytery Bulletin Board in the narthex.

 

Bible Study using Horizons 2004-2005 Study entitled “What She Said” will begin in October. All women are invited to join this opportunity to look in depth at the actual quotable words by women in the Old and New Testaments. Fill out one of the questionnaires posted on the PW bulletin board to help us reach a consensus on meeting days and times. Telephone Carol MacGregor if you have any questions about the study.

             Lionheart Theatre Company will present “Merry Christmas Charlie Brown” December 7,9,14,16 at 7:00 and 7:30 pm (two shows each night). The show will be at the Royal, 19 Jones Street in downtown historic Norcross. Tickets are $5.00 and include punch and cookies after the performance. All audience members are also encouraged to bring a box of cereal to be donated to the Norcross Cooperative Ministry.

CANDLES, CANDLES, CANDLES!

The Preschool is selling candles as our fundraiser again this year.  There are many of the same yummy flavors as last year and some especially yummy new ones.  They are $12 a candle and they make a wonderful birthday gift, Christmas gift or just an everyday gift for yourself.  I will be setting up a table in the narthex before and after church.  So, stop by and see me!  Thank you for your support!  Blessings - Melissa
